29. Quantum Touch is a therapy using the touch of hand, breath work, and body-awareness meditation, and involves the channeling of life force to the body of the sick person. Practitioners employ the process of “sandwiching” the body part that is to be healed. Sometimes the fingers are used as channels by forming them like a tripod through which the energy can be transferred to the sick body part. Likewise, Quantum Touch upholds that the body has that inherent intelligence to heal itself; all the body needs is additional channeling of life energy. Using Quantum touch, the body is enabled to revitalize its damage part. The healer only serves as a conduit to let the flow of life force into the sick person’s body helping the body to heal itself. Reconnective Healing is a form of healing which is based on the fact that the meridian lines are connected to invisible grid lines which are connected to higher invisible lines of energy across the universe. Within Earth itself, the meridian lines of our body are connected to all the centers of energy around the world, such as that of Machu Piccu and the Pyramids of Egypt. Reconnective healing speaks of the Negentrophic Field, which connects us to a higher energy grid organization. 
Once connected to these higher energy grids, feelings in the hands and bodies of practitioners would have an effect on another person. Practitioners believe that once we learn to feel this broad spectrum of healing energy, light, and information, we could have immediate access to life giving energy. Reconnective healing brings about a higher form of existence and a greater holistic existence to a person.
31. Reflexology is a method which uses the application of specific pressure by hand, thumb and fingers in accordance to a reflex map, resembling a human body, located in the palms and feet. Reflexology is an alternative healing which is based on the idea of the universal life energy (Qi). The flow of the Qi when blocked creates sickness in the body. Practitioners usually do pressure applications on limited areas of the clients’ hands, feet and outer ears, without using mechanical tool. Practitioners believe that feet and hands are reflective of the whole body and that there are certain points in the feet and hands which correspond to the different body parts. Stimulation of these points by hands and fingers usually bring about a healing effect to the corresponding ailing body part. Reflexology is one of the most extensively used alternative therapies because of its efficacy in bringing about relief from pain, anxiety and emotional stress. Moreover, the soothing effect of continuous strokes and pressures on the specific points on the feet and hand bring about immediate relief to the recipient of reflexology.
32. Reiki Palm Healing is an energy-based healing which is founded on the concept of the “Ki” (universal energy). Reiki uses palm, hand healing, and breath to transfer energy to the recipient. There are two branches of Reiki, the traditional Reiki and the westernized Reiki. Both necessarily use the same hand technique except that the westernized hand placement has been highly systematized, while with the latter, the use of palm is more intuitive. Practitioners believe that the “Ki” energy is inexhaustible, and one can access this energy through the process of attunement done by the Reiki master. Lastly, in the third degree (Shinpiden), the students become Reiki masters, and are capable of teaching other students. Healing involves either localized treatment which is positioning the hand on the specific area of sickness, while general treatment uses 12 hand positions by energizing the damaged part. Reiki claims to heal all kinds of sickness and pains.
