We all know that life is very short and the moment you attach yourself to something, you are placing yourself in a position to become miserable, not only when you lose the object of your attachment but by the mere thought of losing the object of your attachment. Moreover, for optimal result, you should manifest or ask for new manifestation specifically during the best time of the day—in the early morning when your brain is in the alpha frequency, halfway between sleeping and waking—when your mind is not bound by space and time.

One of the important facets of EFT is that of clearing the abundance blocks from your mind. Practicing EFT will enable you to gradually clear yourself of the abundance blocks of fear, anxiety, lack of self-trust, negatively programmed subconscious, blaming other people, fears of success and fear of change.

Even though you affirm yourself vocally about your desire to have a new manifestation of success in your life, if these limiting abundance blocks are still imbedded in your subconscious mind, then there will always be a gnawing sense of inability and limitation in your life. Emotional Freedom Technique could do a lot in clearing away these energy blocks. The “thank-you” approach could be a good start in the right direction. The act of being thankful immediately takes away the negative effects of fear and anxiety and lack of self-trust. Make constant habits of gratitude your way of life, and it will bring you a lot of good positivity.

2. Clearly deciding on what you want:

TappingThe second thing you should do after clearing your minds of those limiting beliefs and abundance blocks is to decide on what you want. Remember the clearer you express it, the better your mind can create the accompanying dominant thought, which would serve as your magnet in attracting what you want. Start with the idea of gratitude and say: “I am very happy I have,” then state clearly what you want. Say if you want a new house, you could say: “I am thankful for this new and lovely house.”

Likewise, it is very important that you write it. Remember, your mind works on ideas and pictures. You write it down and then put it somewhere where you can often see it. The more you see it, the more it will sink in into your subconscious, and remember, the subconscious mind has the uncanny way of manifesting anything it deeply holds in our life.

Moreover, always verbalize your desire in a very positive affirmative statement. Remember, your mind works on ideas and pictures. If you say for instance, “I am thankful that I have a house that is not small,” then the dominant idea that would be created in your mind is that of a small house, and as I have said earlier, the mind works on pictures. The latter statement would create an idea of smallness instead of a big house that you would like to manifest.

Once you have clearly stated the parameters of what you really want to have, then always write it down and read it as often as possible so that it will sink in into your subconscious mind. Once it is deeply imbedded into the subconscious mind, I bet nobody could stop it from manifesting into your life.

3. Living exactly what you want:

Allow yourself the pleasure of enjoying it in your mind. Allow the positive thoughts to imbue every facet of your life. This entails a bit of your imagination. Experience the joy of having and really feel good about having it. In this way, you are already anticipating the actual feeling of enjoying your wish, and thus your consciousness will vibrate and align the universe according to your feeling. Tap into your subconscious and visualize the process of enjoying your objective. Feel every nuance and texture of the act of achieving and enjoying what you wish for. This anticipatory feeling is unleashing a powerful energy out into the universe. It is like suggesting into the material world to manifest your wish.

Remember, “everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality.” Likewise, take the necessary steps which would lead you to your goal. Your effort may be trivial but your thought is powerful enough to manifest your dominant wish in your life.

The practice of anticipating the experience could also be done with a willing partner. Say for instance, you say to your partner, “I am enjoying this new house.” Then your understanding partner will say, “That’s really great to hear. How do you feel about it?” Keep repeating this process until it sinks in into your subconscious.

4. Detach yourself from the object of your want:

Material things are good in themselves but in the end, everybody has to let go of it. So don’t let yourself be miserable by holding on to the material things of this world. Free yourself from any attachment. You may enjoy the manifestation of your wants but never allow yourself to be attached emotionally to whatever you want; that is counterproductive and will only produce more negative energy in yourself. Once you have stated what you want in a very grateful manner then let go of it.

Remember, each of us is like a lake: the most fetid lakes in the world are those who only receive water but could not let go. Emotional freedom technique teaches us not to attach ourselves to anything. The more we detach ourselves from our wants, the greater our chances of manifesting our wants in our life.
